My garden in very early spring, well I'm calling it spring.

Had some time to play in my garden. I really did not plant much, but cleaned up a bit. The weather has been divine, it's not hot at all and I so enjoy this time of year. I'm getting some different blooms and pretty colors. I have a new magazine that I'm not peeking in till I can carve sometime to just relax and sit out back and enjoy it, maybe this weekend.

I'm really happy about these guys. we've already had some and they are sweet and delicious.

Working on some ATC backgrounds.

Just playing with some paint, stencils, stamps and lots and lots of layering. This is what I've made so far and I like them, hope you will too.

Beautiful ATC and goodies from Louisa.

This is the beautiful ATC I received from my new friend Louisa. She joined the new swap that I'm hosting on my You Tube channel. Her work is truly amazing and now I have a piece of her art. Thank you Louisa.

Little project for my friend Wanda.

I found these gigantic clips at Marshals not too long ago and I wanted to share them with my sweet  friend Wanda. She loves ballerinas like I do so I made one for her gorgeous craftroom. They were a high gloss silver color, kind of industrial looking.  I just had had to paint them. I think they are cute and oh so girlie now.

This is the one I made for her, I was running out of that beautiful pink bling. But had just enough, she already received it and I'm so happy she liked it.

She also loves Eiffel tower motives, so I had to make a little something with it.

New blog sign for my You Tube channel.

I've been wanting to make one of these "fancy" sings, like some of my You Tube friends have. But for some reason I never got around to it, now I'm going to feel more official on my You Tube channel, lol. I would love it if you would follow me THERE.
All kidding aside I do like how it turned out, I used some of my favorite trims and bling.

This has to be my favorite  flower from all the flowers that I've ever done. It reminds me of something from my childhood but I don't know what.

This mason jar I just received from a sweet friend. I altered it a little and I'm keeping my vintage ballerinas, I love them.

Turning some junk finds into art.

Yes I also collect junk and the junkier the better. I love these rusty finds and I can't wait to get my hand on more. So I kind of had an idea what I wanted to do and I went for it.

I had so much fun creating this piece and that's what I like about mixed media projects, you really can't make a mistake, everything goes and I think that's so freeing to me.  I think my favorite areas are the spots where the rust came through the paint, I could never duplicate that look and I love it.

I did a video explaining it all and I would love it if you would follow me on You Tube. Here is the LINK
